I found out i was pregnant at 4 weeks and started having slight cramping n then it got a little worse and i asked the doctor n they said it was either ny uterus stretching or my bowels since there was no blood and said if they get worse and im worried let her kno and i told her right then i was worried as it was my 1st pregrancy n she just ignored me and at 9 weeks i had my 1st ultrasound to find that i had lost my baby only 2 and 1/2 weeks after i told my doctor. Im not trying to worry you this may not even had to do with each other just make sure you get your point across to your doctor if u are worried about something!
I'm now in my 14th week and I had experienced the same pains from weeks 4 to 12. I asked my midwife about it and she said to stay hydrated, as dehydration can cause cramping. It can also be caused by the stretching uterus and the shift of your organs getting adjusted to pregnancy. Typically, as long as there is no fever, or blood, or other accompanying symptoms, then you should be fine.
I'm five weeks and 3 days and since last week I have had in and off period like cramps, it's my first pregnancy and I'm freakibg the whole time. I've spoken to dr and friends all say as long as no blood it's all ok, if pain gets stronger you should get it checked.
