Cramps at 5 weeks pregnant normal?

This is my first pregnancy and I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I've been experiencing cramps off and on similar to period cramps and some of them are different. They aren't extremely painful just kind of there. Maybe I'm just being paranoid because this is our first, but is this normal?

Here's some advice from the MedHelp website and our I'm Expecting app on cramps. You can find this in the app by going to the Pregnancy Diary from the home screen and selecting Morning sickness from the Symptoms menu. Then click the menu bar in the upper left and select Symptoms Manual to see your symptoms. Hope you feel better soon! http://www.medhelp.org/pregnancy-health/articles/Cramps-During-Pregnancy-Your-Symptoms-Manual/1989
