Ive always loved milk.. i could drink a half gallon in one sitting until recently. Im now almost 28 weeks and for the last week milk causes excruciating contractions. So i just stopped drinking it.. i can eat cheese, i can have yogurt, and even milk in my cofee, i just cant have straight milk? I ate it too bc i love my milk!:/
I had issues with milk the first trimester but now im 22+4 and sometimes all i drink is milk.
I've always loved milk and now when I drink it I get the weirdest symptoms. For one, I get super nauseous but I also get incredibly thirsty after and I can't kick the thirst for hours. I can drink a gallon of water and still feel this awful thirst. Tmi but it's usually accompanied by a thick mucous in my throat too. I have no idea why that happens but it's not fun!
Up until about 25 weeks, i couldnt eat any dairy which is odd because before i got pregnant i loved milk and cheese and stuff. Then one day i just woke up wanting a huge glass of chocolate milk and now i drink/eat dairy all the time. My guess is its probably just hormones giving us food adversions, just like they give us cravings. You could always mention it to your doctor though, its possibly he/ she might want to give you calcium supplements.
Sounds like baby might be lactose
I had a milk problem on some days other days I was fine so I'm not sure if that helps. My manager because lactose intolerant while she was pregnant both times after delivery it was all back to normal.
Yes. I'd say most likely it's all the different hormones that your body is producing. Ask your Dr and see what they have to say. Since I'm allergic I take calcium rich Tums (the antacid) he may put you on those as well.
I loved milk before becoming pregnant! Water and milk were all I drank and now this. I know milk is super important for the baby but I just can't. I can eat cheese wouldn't that make me puke as well if I were allergic?
My doctor told me that with pregnancy sometimes comes new allergies that you have never had before! Try talking to them and seeing if maybe they have a better alternative!(:
The only problem I have with milk is that im allergic to it. Have you always been this way or just as you got pregnant?
