I got it because a) I don't want any of those things; b) some of the antibodies get passed onto baby. If I could somewhat protect my daughter before she was born, it was going to happen. I also got the flu shot while I was pregnant. My SO currently has the flu but she, her brother and I are fine.
I was terrified to get the whooping cough vaccine with my first baby. I just ended up doing it and kept having second thoughts after I got it worried if I made the right decision. Well I have a 13 month old, smart, VERY healthy boy :)
I got it last monday and thought i was dying on tuesday -.- wasnt not amused! Had a temp, very bad headache and felt really nauseous just lay in bed that day but felt fine since then, i didnt want it in the first place but my boyfriends mum is a nurse and i know she would have had an issue with me not getting it done so couldnt be bothered with an argument. But i have already refused the flu vaccine! They are full of absolute **** and just totally unnecessary
I got the flu jab it made me quite bad for 2 weeks and i didnt have whooping cough jab because I was never told until it was too late. I'm now 40+0 pregnant all is well.
Thats weird i didnt get offered any vaccines until after baby when i was in the hospital. I do the whooping but ot the flu the flu isnt worth it to me since it only works in 10% of people
I decline the whooping cough until after I had my baby the only other one I got was flu shot
I got the flu vaccine because I work in group homes where our girls get sick and r always in contact with other ppl. So I got it I was fine.
