Do I have to have sex to give birth naturally?

I'm 23weeks pregnant, and the BD and I have decided not to see each other, so we are not having sex, and I have made a decision not to sleep with anyone until my baby is atleast six months old.
I haven't been sexually active in a couple of months and already I can feel that my vagina is tight, especially when I pee,
I really want to give birth naturally, and a lot of people are saying that I need to make way for the baby by having sex if I want to give birth naturally.
Has anyone ever stayed without sex during their pregnancy but managed to give birth naturally without any trouble?

I didn't have sex my whole pregnancy with my first. That includes from before I even knew I was pregnant. I had no issues delivering.

I haven't had sex since I was 5 weeks pregnant, I'm 36 weeks now, and I have no plans to for a long time since I'm not in a relationship. I think about this every once in awhile, but if you think about it, there's a big difference between even the largest guy and a 7-8 lb. baby...I doubt it'd make much difference. Besides, I'm sure there are a lot of us in this situation, even those with husbands, either because they just don't want to have sex while pregnant or because they're military and away from home, etc. We'll be alright.

With my first 2, I'm pretty sure I never had sex with my husband at all after falling pregnant (why did it take me another 5yrs after that to realise we werent in love?!!!) and I had 2 vaginal births...dont panic!!

Don't worry.  If that were true I know a TON of women that wouldn't have had vaginal births.
Sex may help you stay "stretchier", but it's not necessary.  Plus a lot of women want nothing to do with sex in their last trimester, and there are guys that are to scared to do it!

I neverr had sex with my first and gave birth naturally the only thing that caused me to have problems is the fact I wouldn't relax and I have a blood clotting issue.

I haven't had sex n I'm 38 weeks. I've never heard of sex making a way for the baby. Its take 7 yrs for ur vagina to go back to the way it was b4 u started having sex. The tightness may jus b from the baby it'll stay that way as he/she grows. But talk to ur doctor...good luck:)
