Does it affect the baby if I dye my hair? I'm 21 weeks along. Help!

I personally wouldn't. When I was pregnant with my first, I had bright red hair and my natural colour is blonde. I didn't dye it my whole pregnancy as my midwife and hairdresser said you just don't know what will happen. My roots as you can imagine were terrible but I'd rather have bad hair for 9 months than potentially harm my baby. The dye that touches your head goes into your bloodstream which also goes to your baby. Ask your midwife and see what she says, chances are it will be fine but I wasn't willing to take any risks.

No it's perfectly fine just try not to inhale so much chemical , I even use a face mask when getting my nails done because the smells can make me nauseas and very lightheaded .

I dye my hair every month, did with my last two pregnancys as well, just make sure you open a window or turn a fan on, just like bleach or other strong cleaning supplies,  you don't want to breath that in and not have any air.
