Don't know what to do about the name?

Okay so my bf wants to name our baby antoine (ant-wan) jean (john) but he wants to spell out the way I spelled it outside if the parenthesis but I don't really want those names because the teachers will mispronounce it n the name isn't so nice he just wants it becuz its french n he's french so the foul name would be antoine jean guiberteau. When I mention changing it or different names he gets mad n last time told me that I should just pick out, in not sure what to do?

I don't think Antoine will get mispronounced, especially if your son goes to a public school. It's pretty common, at least common enough that people know how to say it. How would they mispronounce it? An-toe-i-knee? Seriously, I don't think people will have trouble with it so that's not the best reason to change it. However, if you simply don't like the sound of the name, then try to come up with a compromise. I'm sure there are other French boy names you both like.

Pick out a name if he told you to.  =)  

Maybe you can keep Jean and find a different first name? My husband and I can't agree on a name either.
