I don't think Antoine will get mispronounced, especially if your son goes to a public school. It's pretty common, at least common enough that people know how to say it. How would they mispronounce it? An-toe-i-knee? Seriously, I don't think people will have trouble with it so that's not the best reason to change it. However, if you simply don't like the sound of the name, then try to come up with a compromise. I'm sure there are other French boy names you both like.
