Dr. Downing , please reply....14 days late

hi Dr. Downing, i am late for my periods by 14 days. i am never late. i am ttc since last 3 months. on the 22nd day of my cycle i.e. 24th sept, i got spotting for a few hours. i took HPTs but negative and on the seventh day of my missed period i went to the doctor and did qualitative blood test but negative. my doctor has asked me to come back after 3 weeks. is it possible that i am pregnant. my nipples are tingling and a bit more sensitive since yesterday.

how are u? well i still haven't gotten my period either. its relaxing to read that at least someone else is also in the same situation as i'm. you can post ur questions at Pregnancy forum or Gynaecology forum cuz Dr. Keith will answer ur questions at either of these forums.
i was finally successful at posting my question at the gnaecology forum today (10/16/07)
we can check his answer by the end of the day hopefully....and one more thing i know u wanna get pregnant like i do but we can't stop living our lives thinking about this all the time....just be stress free cuz whatever the God does is for our best.

thanks. he has asked me to come back after 3 weeks. i did a lot of research work and found that qualitative blood test is only as accurate as urine test but quantitative one is most accurate. mine was qualitative. i am praying.

In order to get Dr. Downing to respond I think you need to Post to the Gynecology Forum...this is a Forum for women/men to speak to each other about questions and concerns.  But to answer your question (none of us are doctors) you could be pregnant, but if you're not getting a positive then the tests you've taken already are probably correct.  If you tested 7days after you missed period and your blood test came back negative did your doctor give you something to maybe help start your cycle?  That way once it's over you can use an OPK to predict ovulation.  The good thing about that is at least you'll have a date to gage everything from.  Best of luck to you
