quick question!!! About 3 4 weeks ago I had a dream that my my dh and the pastor at my church were gathered and the pastor told me and my dh that God will be giving us a son so that our problems would be over (me and dh have no problems were doing great thank God) and that we needed to name that son Jack. I woke up and time passed.  Recently I was intrigued about what the name Jack meant and when I look it up low and behold Jack means "God Is Gracious".  I am belliever that God talks to you in different ways.  I bellieve he talks to me through dreams.  After that all I dream about is babies or baby showers or someone holding a newborn baby.  And also every where I look or whoever I talk to the name Jack comes up.  Very weird.

I hear how people have dreams about positive pregnancy test but I don't have any of those.  I believe that God in that dream told me that I would be having a son.  When: Whenever He wants.

Wow, that's amazing. Thanks for sharing.  I always had people tell "oh you are so pregnant" and then I'm saying to myself, no I'm, so off af just came.  But your story is incredible.  And then you never saw her again, even more amazing.  Good luck with your son and congrats, I will llet you know when I conceive my baby Jack!!

isn't just wierd who people you don't know from adam or eve, can pinpoint details in your life and they're right?  when i left my 1st husband, i was sitting in the airport in orlando after arriving from new hampshire, and this old lady sitting next to me said something everything heals itself in time....and i kind of smiled, and thought maybe she'd lost someone, and she said no, that divorce can leave a bad taste, and something like she didn't believe in it, but that sometimes IT IS for the best....then she'd said something like, you know what i'm talking about.....after that, i don't think i cried again about us divorcing, and although i missed my husband, i thought maybe she's right.....i had thought maybe she'd seen our "goodbye" in the airport in new hampshire, but she was talking about being from sanford, and going to arizona to see grandbabies...so there's no way she'd have seen us....(we hugged and kissed, and talked for a few minutes before my husband left, as he was the only person who could take me to the airport, and we were still living together)....

I had a devestating m/c with our first child in November. A month later, DH and I went to a fancy wine dinner event at a local restaurant and sat by these two middle-aged sisters who were visiting from out of state. We conversed throughout dinner and had a lot of laughs. They decided to head home early, and as they stood up to leave one of the sisters leaned over the table and said, "are you trying for a baby?"... I was a bit put off and weirded out at first but uncomfortably chuckled and quietly replied "Yes." She looked right into my eyes and said "It's going to happen. Very soon. And it's going to be a boy." I sat there for moment taken aback; I wasn't sure what to say. I smiled and sort of laughed awkwardly, and said "I hope so".... She smiled slightly, put her hand on mine, then very seriously said "You're not going to lose it this time." She then gave me a huge smile and then walked out of the restaurant, and I've never seen her since.

2 weeks later we conceived our son.

While this wasn't a dream, I totally believe in fate and signs and all that stuff.... maybe God was talking to me via another person. Maybe she was a guardian angel of sorts. Who knows?! All I know is that I've never had such an experience and I've never had such an overwhelming sense of "it's going to be okay" after that moment.

Wow, I'm also Pentecostal. Both my dh and I are.  That is amazing about your dream with your pastor and your wedding.  He exist and He wants you to be faithful to Him and then He will grant you whatever you ask him for. God bless and thank you!!

Latrice- See what I mean. Michael Jack????!!!! no, but believe it or not and beginning to grow fond of the name Jack.
Did you see the movie Jack with Robin Williams??, that is one of my favorite movies, I always cry when he is graduating and when he gets his first heart attack in school, is just so sad.

I do believe god does talk to us threw many different ways, and tries to show you things.  In time, you will have Jack:)

yes you are cetainly right god does talk to some of his children throw dreams. iam pentacostral religious and i strongly believe in god too. he talks to me through my dreams also and he told me the same thing that my husband and i were going to have a baby soon also. but the difference in my dreams from your is that i dream that iam taking care and raising two children at the same time. a boy and a girl. in all of my dreams those children are mines. i never dream about being pregnant or going into labour i always have dreams about having birthday parties, going shopping and having fun with my two kids and my family. alot of people tell me that what you think about all the time or what you see all day is what cause you to have your dreams like that, it is just the "subconcious" mind. i believe in god and god dose not talk to everyone through dreams . some of us have that special gift, but not many of us. i believe that god is showing me my future with my children and he is going to continue to show it to me until it finally comes to past i beleive iam going to have twins. that is what god is showing you. when your son is conceived you name that child jack, god has a purpose for your child and his name. i got married to my husband when i was 31 and now iam 33, we have been married for almost 3 years now. we dont have any kids together yet. a pastor came to me in my dreams and told me that i was going to get married soon. sure enough two weeks after that dream i met my husband and believe it or not we dated for only 5 months and we got married may 25, 2006 and we are still happily married. if you believe in god and he shows you things in your dreams no matter what people say listen to your dreams and your heart and not to other people.

I was thinking the same thing.  But maybe jack michael sounds to much like michael jackson lol, i don't know lets see when it does happens.

I know right, he will be named Jack for sure.  His father wanted Michael after him, but I  guess that will not be happening :-)
