Dry skin....

My face is sooo dry.  I already have really sensitive skin and now my face is just so dry and irritated.
I've been putting lotion on it like crazy but it doesn't help. I don't use soap to wash my face.

Please and suggestions or remedies would be awesome!!

Oh! Just thought of something I used to use before and it worked great it's kind of weird but works. Use head and shoulders dandruff control on your face. I just bought a small travel bottle since you won't use a whole lot.

It also helps if you don't rub the lotion in for awhile. It allows your skin to absorb naturally rather than being irritated by your hands rubbing it in until it's gone.

I have eczema, but not too bad & i use either Jergens or Aveeno lotion. They work pretty good, & for soap i use dove. I use it when i wash my face also. When showering try not to stay in too long & avoid hot hot water, that could also dry your skin out.

Go buy a gentle exfoliating face wash with beads and then apply coconut oil.

When my face gets dry I use an exfoliating wash and then lotion once after I get out of the shower and then again after getting dressed to get some extra moisture for the day. Then at night I just use a make up remover towelette thing even tho I don't wear make up, but just to get the excess crap off my face, and moisturize again.

Try putting coconut oil on your face. I have very dry skin and sensitive skin and that the only thing that doesn't make me itch. Maybe also put a cool mist humidifier in you room at night. Try to drink some more water. Those r the 3 things that help me.

I have really bad eczema, but i haven't had a flare up in about 6 months. Maybe it's the type of lotion you use? I use the Eucerin Lotions and Dove sensitive skin soap when i shower. Those were recommended to me by my dermatologist and work great with my skin. I was also told i shouldn't shower for so long (i used to go 30-45mins) and also shouldn't shower in super hot water. Hope that helps!

Coconut oil works well on dry skin.
I have the same problem so I apply it before bed and it takes all the dryness away.
Also vasline and coconut butter work good.
