I feel that anything less than a level 10 is semi-okay. Anything is better than actual cigarettes anyways. I haven't had any problems or complications so far and baby is healthy as ever. But I know that shouldn't be an excuse to not quit.
Im a smoker im 7 months pregnant and still smoke, i feel bad but i cut down a lot. So you're better off than me.
No for the same reason, I'm on 3. See if I keep myself busy I don't tend to use it so that's what I've been trying to do (:
Would it be as bad if I went down to a level 0 of nicotine? I know I could probably do it but I feel that e-cigs are already a better alternative to actual cigarettes. I think it's the hand to mouth motion that I need, but I do admit that I have an addiction to the nicotine as well obviously.
I was smoking mine in the begining of my pregnancy, before I found out, then it started making me sick; bf said because I was pregnant (didnt believe him) but I quit fully right after I found out I was, first child made me quit cold turkey too!
Good job cutting back though :) yay for healthy babies!
@CydneyHeaven I use mine pretty often, all day long I would say. Have you asked your doctor if it's okay? I haven't because I know that they'll probably just say no. What level nicotine do you use?
Congrats & keep at it! Its better to wean yourself off then quitting cold turkey anywat!
..but i no there are going to be people who say it's disgusting that I still use it but it's not like I am smoking real cigarettes or taking drugs, drinking etc. It's a bad habit like people drinking coffee and no one says nothing who drink that during pregnancy.
I am the same, when I found out I was pregnant at 9 weeks I cut down to smallest level. I am now 17 weeks and still use it, I feel bad also, however I don't use it all day maybe 2/3 times.
