I feel like ive been run over by a bus! Achy and exhausted, putting it down to age, was 6 years younger the last time i did this!
Thank you ladies for your feedback that helps alot! I will take this sickness times 10 if it means I can have a child. So hopefully this may be a good sign.
Good luck...hope you get your bfp!
I am 9 weeks now, but at 6 weeks I had a low grade fever, terrible sore throat and an ear infection. I took Augmentin and my ear felt better, but it took weeks for my sore throat to get better. During pregnancy our immune systems are suppressed, so we are much more susceptible to everything, besides the fatigue and aches we already feel from pregnancy. There are antibiotics you can take if you do end up with an ear infection, and the one thing is you should always get checked out if you are feeling sick. During pregnancy a mild illness can turn serious fast.
There are some women though (not me) who seem to be even healthier during pregnancy.
I'm 7 weeks and starting around 4 weeks I felt a cold coming on. Now it seems to just be sinuses, but still bothersome along with being tired and sore. Check with your physician to see what meds you can take.
Thank you for all your help! I have felt like I have had a headache as well. So I hope these are early pregnancy symptoms I am glad to hear I am not the only one experiencing them. Thank you ladies.
I had a runny nose that would not stop for weeks, headache, slightly feverish. Nobody else was sick. Yeah it's really common.
Yes! Its common to get sick after becoming pregnant because your ammune system dosent work as hard because its allowing the baby to be in your body without being attacked by your immune system
