Early labour!?

I was told this morning that i was having early labor symptoms. Meaning that my contractions were 8 minutes apart!?  
Do you think i will have my baby like in the next 24 hours!?
Also i went to l&d because i thought my water broke but it wasn't my water. Help someone!?

Good they should get painful. Just keep moving stay active. Its a good sign that baby is on its way when contractions are under 5 minutes apart and you cant walk or talk through them. Are you timing them with a contraction timer? It will make it so much easier if you download an app

Some people are in labor for days especially when its early labor and a first child

Keep track on contraction on how many minutes are they. And be ready in any case. What week are you?
Are they painfull?
