Early sign of pregnancy? Wisdom please!

Hi all,

I'm 20 years old, my boyfriend is 22. We Really were not planning on getting pregnant so soon, about two weeks ago we decided to stop using condoms. I stopped taking birth control five months ago. A week ago we had sex and the morning after I woke up to a little smear of blood. There was no blood while we were having sex and it wasn't particularly rough either so we were a bit confused.
For the past two days my breasts have been extremely sore and the nipples erect to the point of pain. I've never had this happen before. Sorry to be very TMI, but we have had sex almost every day and it still hasn't released the pressure I feel.

Now, I'd like to think I'm a rational person. My mom (who has four kids) is very excited because she says pregnancy signs can show up early and we usually just ignore them.
Any moms out there who has had this happen to them in early pregnancy? I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow but I'd like to prepare myself for what she might say.
Thank you!

Unfortunately other things can mimic pregnancy signs.  But it does sound promising!  Maybe the blood u saw was implantation bleeding.  I didnt have it with my first two but with number 3 i did.  Good luck to you and I hope you get the results you want. :)

Pregnancy symptoms are not reliable to go off of and only a pregnancy test will tell you if you are pregnant or not. Pregnancy symptoms are also the same for PMS, stress, hormonal fluctuations, illness, medication side effects, and so on. Take a home pregnancy test to find out if you are pregnant or see your doctor to get tested.

How long have you been with your boyfriend? Are you in college or any type of continued education? Do you have a stable job with good income?
