Eclipse Tonight

So there will be an eclipse tonight around 8. I dont know if I am the only one but when there is an eclipse I have heard that pregnant women need to protect themselves(baby) by wearing red. Any truth to that? Or just myth? What happens when eclipse occurs and you're pregnant?

LOL..how can you resist.  But don't ly flat on your back, it can compress your major blood vessels and be dangerous to you and your baby.

lol my friend calld me just to tell me to wear a red shirt to protect your baby and red underwear.....they say an eclipse can make your baby deformed or kill it. its an old mexican tale but still i didnt want to take any chances. my friends mom told me its true becuase she had an exclipse when she was pregnant with her son and his feet came out deformed (im guessing his toes are webbed) but right wen i hung the fone up i put on a red shirt and underwear lol

I have heard that too, Both my boys were born during snow storms, it sucked trying to get to the hospital. Im due in Oct and moving to MI and MI has really horrible but exciting storms, so maybe I wont have to stress about going over my due date lol.

The night of an eclipse you have to lay down for two hours but it can't be on your side? Interesting...
My husband is VERY Superstitious...if a black cat even comes near him, he walks backwards for days! LOL

So did you have to wear red all day or just when the eclipse happens? I might have to throw something red on now! Just a red shirt or are you decked out in red??

My hubby made me. I have been reading on the subject and there have been stories of people not believing in it and their baby is born with defects. I don't know if to believe or not I am not in superstious but this one has me thinking. Also I have read that you have to lay down not to the side for two hours. That sucks.
