Egg Whites

I figure since I don't have EWCM (or any CM for that matter), that I should use real egg whites! Apparently it has worked for some people and I did a little research and it seems to be safe. I know I am one crazy person and I'm going to try this. I set an egg out to reach room temp. I'll let y'all know how it goes if anyone cares to know!

Well that's good you have some CM!!! It can change drastically from one potty break to the next. I hope all goes well with that!

I have noticeable cm, but its always white and sticky or like lotion, not clear and stringy.  I sent an article to my boyfriend, i'll see what he thinks.  If he doesn't care, I'm going to try it.

OMG! LOL! I totally forgot I posted this. Desperate times call for desperate measures... well I'm not too sure it worked just yet. It's a pain in the bum trying to get it in unless you have a turkey baster (which I do not). I didn't even tell DH about it. I'm actually a VERY modest person IRL and I just let my crazy side go wild on this forum! LOL! I couldn't tell him without being utterly embarassed. I don't even know that I got ANY in but I know I was ovulating. Hopefully that'll be enough. And if I end up pregnant this go around, all your ladies should try it! LOL! I can't be the only brave soul!

kimbole, it is effective when you do not produce noticeable CM. The key is to not get any egg yolk in as that is the part that may contain bacteria. I've seen more than one doctor say, "There is no evidence that this is harmful." CM helps sperm survive in the vagina so they live longer. A great substitute is egg whites.

tatorbug, thanks for the heads-up! I will definitely try to remember to order some if this didn't work! Hopefully this worked though.

yeah Joy I too read about this.  It is said to be safe and effecive....lol  I am curious to hear what dear hubby thinks about the idea...haha! Actually since we are right near ovulation i think i will mention it to Adam and tell him we are going to try it .... just to see what type of response i get from him...haha

Not sure about if it works or not-  but I saw you mention something about pre-seed in another post... just wanted to let you know that I ordered some online and it comes in the mail very quickly...  won't help you this month-  but IF you need for next month (hopefully you won't)-  it doesn't take long in the mail...  good luck!

that sounds amazing, so i guess real egg whites are sperm friendly.  Hope it works out well for you this month, can't wait to hear how it turns out.

Good luck Joy!!!  I really hope you get your BFP soon!!!  I have been thinkin about ya, but I have been keeping up w/ you through the forum as much as I can.  Did you ever try the preseed?  Have you gotten your test results back yet?  I can't remember the exact date that you said, but it seems like it will be 2 weeks this week right?
