Elective inductions in Australia?

Does anyone know if your aloud to ask for an induction in Australia? My husband works away so I want to make sure she comes while he is home as he only gets 1-2 weeks off for baby, I'm due on August 14th so can I elect to have an induction on the 14th incase she hasn't come yet? So I'd still be 40weeks
