Emotional drained.. So confused

I'm 20 wks pregnant me and my boyfriend broke up when I found out... So I applied for cash assistance thru the state which means he will have to pay child support.. He starting to come around now wants to be around but not involved with doctor app etc... I'm feeling should I try which never works or just tell him I'm getting help with the state once he finds out he won't talk to me any more... But I did it to make sure my child is good... I don't know wat to do... He committed but not a 100% and sometimes I feel bad about getting on the state... Any advice??

You shouldnt feel bad about being on state assistance, as far as child support goes the state gets paid back from the payments the absent parent makes

Worry about you and that baby. That's the most important. Stay on state assistance. At least you know you have it and you won't have to worry about him being a man one day and a child the next!
