Expecting pregnancy with ectopic pregnancy history

I had ectopic pregnancy on last september.after that my periods were irregular (short cycles from 17 to 25days).2 months before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and after taking medicine I guess my periods were coming back on track (17 days cycle became 25days on last month).my periods was on 16th march.on March 25th I had cramps(I hope that was ovulation cramps,I don't know exactly).after that on April 1st and 2nd I had a pink shade of blood stain with discharge two times a day accompanied with cramps(is that implantation bleeding).and after that some days I have cramps like periods during night.from yesterday I don't feel any cramps.
I hope i am pregnant. But i am afraid because of my last case of ectopic pregnancy.I have 2 doubts:
1.as I have irregular periods which day I have to do urine pregnancy test?
2.How can I rule out ectopic pregnancy earlier this time?

I am very tensed and have bought a normal urine pregnancy test kit.Now as the covid issues are going on I am afraid to go to hospital too before confirming pregnancy.
Please help me.

My sympathy for the tough times. You could wait another week before testing, or run a couple of tests a week apart. A strong early positive test would reduce the chance of ectopic, which typically has a slow rise in hCG hormone. A series of blood tests showing a slow rise in hCG would raise concerns. An ultrasound at the right time would confirm. You might look for a doctor office that would help with this so you could stay clear of the hospital. Good luck!

I am really sorry to hear you had an ectopic pregnancy.  I have read that this really barely increases the odds of it occurring again.  It increases the odds by a mere 15 percent which isn't zero but not a lot too.  Most likely, you will conceive and have a traditional, healthy pregnancy after the ectopic because the odds are in your favor to do so.  Best of luck to you!
