FRER Evap lines???

Just a quick question... Has anyone ever gotten a evap line from a FRER

I have a couple of times, but not frequently... But i've peed on an obscene number of sticks, so I probably have about the same ratio as those that have gotten "just once" ;-)

YEP! Only once, looked like it had color but by the next day it was definitely grey. I've probably used more than 100, I was a bit obsessed, LOL...AND that's over 6 years of being sexually active. I'd taken a few, more than a few before DH and I ever met...had a few accidents with broken condoms and alcohol...not something I'm proud of...but I never had a positive that was fake until this year I have the one evap/false positive. The only other time I've ever had a positive was with my son and this baby. Unfortunately, I guess no test is perfect. But I'd still recommend FR or ClearBlue Digital, they're the only ones I I trust.

I actually had an evap/false positive from a FRER like three years ago. It had two lines that had color, so much so that I really thought I was pregnant. It showed up within the time frame and everything. However in the last year I've taken a bunch of FRER's when ttc and I never had this happen again. So maybe they changed their tests. The only tests that I have had consistant bad results were the blue dye tests. In January, I was tracking my bbt and was on cd50 and hadn't ovulated. I bought two different blue dye tests and hpt's from both of them gave me positives when there was no way I was pregnant.
