FTM Help

My baby boy is two weeks old and this morning he woke up with a cough . Is there anything I can give him ?

Thank youu ladies he only seems to start coughing when the room gets fresh as long as the room os warm he seems to be ohkay . but I will definitely call his doctor.

Dont give baby anything. Definitely call doc. Prob croup. Hope b as by is better soon

Hospital is overkill...use the ER for emergencies only. Its most likely nothing. As long as he has no fever, and is otherwise acting fine you can call your pediatrician in the morning. Children under 6 years cannot have cough and cold medicines but most of the time in newborns coughing and sneezing is normal and just them adjusting to the environment.

Steamy bathroom could help just sit in there for a couple mins.not too long. But defff no meds

Yea go to Dr at that age u shouldn't be giving over the counter meds

Might b best to  call his pediatrician and ask him/her what is best to make sure it is nothing too too serious they might ask u to come in. I doubt there is much u. can give a baby so so young but the doctor will know best
