Fair Rides and Amusement Parks

I recently found out I am about 4 weeks pregnant and the fair is coming to town and it will be my daughter's first fair as she is only 11 months old and I am really badly wanting to go on the carousel with her for her first time but need to know if there is a high risk with it. I asked a friend who is a nurse and she told me that it should be ok as long as that was the only ride I went on. I just want to make sure.

Hi!
Congratulations!  You are going to have two pretty close together!
There is no reason to avoid the carousel, or for that fact any other non-contact ride.  The only risk would be associated with any ride on which you might have trauma to the abdomen.  So I would avoid the bumper cars, etc for example.  But if you wanted to ride the kiddy train or something like that--indulge!  Have fun with your daughter while its just you two girls!
Good luck!

Yeah, as long as it is a kid friendly ride, you should be fine.
