Feel dumb but have to ask...

So I was just bragging the other day about how I ALWAYS take my mini-pill bc within the same 1 1/2 hours every night, and I have it written down for the last 4 months and it's eerily on time every single night. Well...2 nights ago, I completely forgot to take it. Set it out, walked out here this morning and noticed it was there. Yikes. I was on my period at the time, and DH and I had sex yesterday (CD 5) the day after my period ended.....I usually ovulate somewhere between CD 12-CD15....I'm pretty sure there's very little risk of pregnancy, but I just need some reassurance. lol. I'm getting a breast reduction either at the end of this month or the beginning of next (hopefully going down from a 36EE/EEE to a 36D/DD) and I really need to get this surgery NOW because I finally found a doctor who considers it a medical necessity and will get my insurance to cover it....I want another baby, but we were gonna TTC at the end of the year.

Like I said..I'm pretty sure it's a very small risk because of when during my cycle I am...but...just reassure me, ladies. lol

Nice to see you - colour me relieved.

Anyway...you're at a pretty low risk, given the point you were at in your cycle....but seeing as I've seen you post this type of thing a couple of times, wondering about the effectiveness of the mini pill, I'd suggest using an additional form of BC if you're really worried.  I'm not on Micronor anymore, but I remember how the literature that came enclosed in the pill packet was full of references, in big, bold print about how the pill is not as effective as the combination pills, etc., etc. - mine even came with a sheath which you were supposed to use for a condom - talk about a reminder of the relative ineffectiveness of the mini pill! lol

thanks ladies! It would figure that I ovulate super early this month or something, LOL...but I'm trying not to worry about it..I don't think I'll even mention it to DH because he might get excited. I appreciate the reassurances :-)

girl you are safe, no worries...It was way outside the window, and if it did happen, then man your DH has some super-duper spermies lol hope that made you chuckle...I really do think you are safe...and most of the pills that you take while on your period are basically sugar pills anyways....
