Feeling ignored

I am always having these talks with my fiancé about certain plans I have and now I'm convinced that he is not listening bc everytime I do something that was just as we planned, he makes the statement that I never told him. I try to tell myself maybe he forgot, but he really gets upset bc he schedules things at the time of or planned event and doesn't take any blame for forgetting. So if he's not forgetting, then he must not be listening.

I have two calendars that I have to use with my hub because I had the SAME PROBLEM (UGH) so I have a calendar in the office and as each month is ending, Ill sit next to him and go over everything. I also make a list of things that are happening and Email it to him, if something new comes up or is happening. Ill Email him the new plan and also text him the event and telling him to look at the calendar in the office. I feel like his personal assistant but it works and there's no "I forgot" B.S - UGH MEN!!

Ha. Make him stand by the calendar as you write down your plans. And tell him as your doing it, don't say you forgot when this day comes in writing it down and telling you.

Lol I like the voice recording idea but he'll just say I'm treating him like a child. Plus I don't know whathe'll forget.. Or when he not listening. I'll just carry it everywhere I go with him..

Make a calender on your fridge and write the stuff on it!  That way you have documentation! :-P

I had that problem too so i would voice record myself telling him and him responding. Then whe he would say you never told me I would play the recording for him. It might also help if you give him reminders.

My hubby does that sometimes and then tells me i never told him about it when i KNOW i did! Its really frustrating. I dunno if he's forgetting or just not listening but I've started making him put our plans into his phone so he 'remembers'
