I guess, it is used with clomid, IUI, IVF, it tregers the eggs to be released
can i ask, is this the same shot you would use when undergoing IVF?
usually the shot should work 36 hours after the injection. i never heard that it didn't work, so don't worry about that. as for the symptoms, as said above, they mimic the pregnancy so much, so try not to overthink about them. a normal dosage should be out of your system within 10 to 14 days, it may vary depending on your metabolism. i had it twice for now, and i'm going to have it again this month. the symptoms gets easier though :)
best of luck to you, hope you get your BFP this month
I did the shot October 4th, and started having side effects the day after. It does mimic prenancy/pms symptoms. But what I noticed with the injection, was I started cramping from ovulation and it never stopped until a few days ago, now it is just less frequent. Turns out the cramping didn't stop because it worked and I am 5.4 weeks pregnant! I tested 8 days after the trigger and got a negative so I knew the shot was out of my system, retested 10 days after trigger and started getting an extremely faint positive. Good luck!!
