First pregnancy week 29

I'm scared I'm a first time mom I read where the umbilical cord can get tied around the baby's neck how can I prevent that help I'm scared!

That's a testimony and such a blessing that you are here today I'm praying everyday I know everything will be okay I just try not to worry much because it's not good for the baby!

There is nothing that can be done to prevent it dear. Just try not to stress and worry too much! :-) ik it's hard it's one of my biggest fears as well. This story isn't to scare you but might help you to know in long run extreme circumstances can save your baby if that happens. This is, what happened to me mom went into labor went to the hospital and they were trying to deliver me and lost my heartbeat my cord was wrapped around my neck many times so they had to do an emergency cesarean and get my heartbeat back etc I was purple as could be I've seen pictures not pretty but im healthy and ok and here 25 years later! :-) you are 29 weeks so you can start doing kick counts if you haven't and just keep an eye on babies movement :-)

I hope so because I worry all the time about my baby girl is so active and she moves everywhere I just want everything to be okay

You can't prevent that, but please don't stress over that sweetheart! Drs and Midwives are very good and they will make sure you and your baby are okay the best they can xx
