Flu Will It Hurt My Baby ?
I've been feeling really sick tired body aches stomach pain feeling like I'm going to barff every 5mins headaches if its the flu is it going to hurt my baby ? What type of medication can I take for this I really fell horrible :(
I had the same thing. My doctor told me to take Tylenol and drink gatorade, and get plenty of rest.
If you have the flu antibiotics won't work. The flu is a virus and the only medication for it is not safe during pregnancy... The main thing is hydration and fever control. If you believe you have influenza contact your Dr and they can tell you what they'd like to do based on your symptoms
You must go see your doctor if you believe its the flu. They need to diagnose you and treat you in a more immediate manner than if it was a common cold. They will most likely put you on catagory B antibiotics which are safe for baby. Good luck.
Im not sure medication wise but just make sure you stay hydrated and rest ! Staying hydrated is a big thing they worry about when you have the flu !
