Folic acid or prenatal vitamins?

I'm 12 weeks 3 days, is it better for the baby for me to be taking folic acid or prenatal vitamins now?

You can take both safely. Prenatals should be considered before all others cause they have more vitamins. DHA is very important to be taking in but if your current prenatal doesn't have it you can get it from fish oil pills.

Prenatal vitamins usually have folic acid in them...but you could do both if you wanted to.
