Ftm 30 weeks 4 days am i having bh contractions or real ones?

I'm a ftm and I'm 30 weeks and 4 days and for the past 10 to 15 minutes my stomach feels like it tightens/cramps on and off. I'm not in a ton of pain but its very uncomfortable. It feels like period cramps but they are not regular. It's felt like this in my back, stomach, and thighs. I've drank a whole 16.9 oz bottle of water and layed down but it's still happening. It felt worse too when I went to get the water. I will be calling the doctor if it gets worse but I'm worried and I'm not sure if it's bh contractions  or the beginning of real contractions. Thank you so much for any advice you can give

Those Braxton Hicks can fool you when you're a ftm.

Ok thank you so much babyonboardxox! They did eventually stop thank goodness! I'm a ftm and it worried me because it's never been that bad! But thank you so much for your advice! I had an appointment with my ob today anyway so I'm going to tell them about it

Sounds like braxton hicks... if they get to the point where you cant handle it anymore you need to go to your l&d unit.
