Gbs?

Hello ladies , has anyone had or has "group b strep" during their pregnancy? I was told by the doctor that i have it and I'm very worried.should i be concern?

There's nothing to worry about at all , they'll just treat you before you deliver .

It's just a bacteria, all that happens is you'll get antibiotics through the iv so your baby doesn't get it. I've never tested positive for it but I read a lot.

I had it with my first son, there is nothing to worry about. Just make sure when you go in to labor you don't wait around, Go to the hospital. That way they can hook you up to the antibiotics and you have enough time to get them in you body.
