^^ that's true too , also if you don't watch your sugar closely your baby will grow fast but he/she won't for right , or also diabetes can lead to fetal death .
As far as i know, there's no symptoms or signs. You get tested and you just either have it or you don't.
I failed my 1 hour but passed my 3 hour test. My friend has gestational diabetes though. She has to check her blood 4 times a day and she saw a dietician. They monitor your baby more because mom's with ga, tend to have bigger babies.
6 weeks after you deliver they'll test you again to see if you still have diabetes
I found out at 28 weeks through my glucose test , I really didn't have any symptoms . But if you have it your ob will refer you to a diabetes doctor which you'll see every week until you deliver . After you deliver they'll test you again
