Glucose Test

I'm going in next week to get my glucose test done and I'm really scared. I'm only 9 weeks right now and my doctor wants me to do it early because I'm high risk, since I'm half Asian and diabetes runs in my dads side of the family. I'm scared I'm going to fail and I'm scared to actually get my blood taken :/ I almost passed out last week when I got my blood drawn and I don't know what to do to not pass out.

When I get my blood drawn I never look, I just look up or the other direction. It helps alot to do that because when I got my blood drawn for the glucose test I didn't even feel it, the needle was so thin. Well good luck :)

try talkin to the nurse wen shes doing it.... thats wat i do... i was terrified from gettin my blood taken till i became pregnant nd it was a must do thing nd now its nuthing... yu get use to it after awhile... try not to think of it

Great idea. Don't be scared of the test. It's nasty tasting stuff but it is the worst. I had to take mine super early to because my family has diabetes. I passed with flying colors. It depends on your body. It will all be good though good luck sweetie.
