Glucose Test

So tomorrow morning I'm taking the glucose test.  From what I've been told  , I heard you just have to drink something and it makes you sick. Had anyone taken it? How was it? My best friend told me it made her sleepy for that rest of the day. I just want to know what you other mommies went through :)

I makes some people sick. This is my second pregnancy. My first was 11 years ago and it was way worse then lol it just tastes like flat soda now. They give you like 15 min to drink it. If you can stomach it I recommend just pounding it because they take your blood an hour after you finish. The faster you get it down the faster you get outta there. Good luck!

Yeah I just drank mines. It was orange flavor too. The wait is just so boring :( I'm getting an hour test done as well.

I loved the drink it tasted like orange pop, youdo get a sugar ccrash, atleast I did and my baby wouldn't stop moving,  I had the hour long test done twice do to a idiot student nurse who didn't take my blood right.
