Yes every pregnant woman has to take it and it's to test your blood sugar to see if you have gestational diabetes

You have to do it, it's to test to see if you have gestational diabetes which can come during pregnancy.

Its when you have to fast (not eat) and then they give you a sugary drink and take your blood to see how your body processes the sugar. They do it to see if you have gestational diabetes which can be potentially dangerous if you don't get it under control.

Kelsey your talking specifically about the fasting glucose test. The one she is speaking about is when u drink that crap that taste like watered down crap lol I had to do both of them so I know about the fasting one as well.

Not everyone has to take it. There are certain instances where you would not have to. The only instance I know of is where you have preexisting diabetes so in that case you cant get gestational diabetes because you already have a worse form. Ex me.

They make you take these tests when you're around 24 to 28 weeks so roughly 6 or 7 months

They usually test you around 27 or 28 weeks. Weight has nothing to do with it.

Im doing my tomorrow.. Its actually what all these lovely momas said im 27weeks 4 days.. I also have to have sometpe of shot done too
