Glucose test??
tomorrow morning I go for my 1 hour glucose test! Can anyone tell me what I'm going to have to do? I'm aware you drink a syrup kind of drink.. Do they give you a blood test or do you pee in a cup? I have a fear of needles, granted I'm ok with it because it's for my twins! I just want to know before I go so their is no surprises!
Some docs make u f ast. I did not. You get there have 5 min to drink a small bottle of lemon lime tasting soda like drink. Wait one hour. They draw blood. No urine. Done.!
I had the two hour test, they took blood, gave me the drink, waited for two hours and took blood again.
Yea the orange drink is awesome drank it both pregnancies. Just tastes like flat orange crush :-) so yea you just get your drink have to finish it in 5 minutes then 1 hr later you have your blood drawn.
