HELP 10 WEEKS PREGNANT

Help I just found out i am 10 weeks pregnant. I smoked weed daily and drank on weekends b4 i found out!! WHat do I do?? Is my baby going to be born with health issues??? Please don't judge me!! I completely stopped.


Has anyone been thru this before?? Did anyone drink & smoke b4 they knew they were pregnant?? Please help me im so stressed and i hope everything will be ok!

I would start taking prenatal vitamins. Best of luck to you and I'm glad you stopped right away to not harm your precious angel! I would tell your OB about this though, so he can keep a close eye on you and your baby's health/development.

You should be just fine. I drank before both of my pregnancies. Only reason I did was the first pregnancy I was convinced I was not preggers and I drowned my sorrows and this pregnancy we went to a big biker bash and I drank as we were not trying to get preggers so I did not know.  My almost 3 year old daughter is just fine.  This pregnancy I am 21 weeks and did tell the doc about my drinking up to the point of a positive preg test and he chuckled and told me most women drink so not too worry. Baby is just fine.

I never smoked pot in early pregnancy but I am confident you and baby are fine. As long as you stopped u will have no lasting affects.  Be honest with your doctor. Believe me they have heard it all and are not shocked by these things. :)

Thank You Ladie So much!!!! I'm was just so scared and confused. I never thought I could get pregnant and then I found out i did & I just started getting so scared becuase I know what i did prior to that. I worry too much and I know thats bad for the baby. Again, Thanks you Ladies so Much for giving me hope and helping me in this time of need. I will talk to my Dr about it. I will find out for sure how far along I am lol. I will keep you updated on Wednesday.

Hun your probably not 10 weeks yet lol. Id say ur probably 4-5 weeks.. It should all b just fine! Good luck!!

Hey, i dont think she tested because she had been having unprotected sex for 4 yrs and didnt get preggo so she didnt assume she was this time.

babygirl, am sure your baby is fine. just like keishacovey09, i spoked pot (shame on me lol) a day before i found out i was preggo and i was drinking that night too. my baby is now 18 mnths old. i think if you had kept this up especially through the critical development stages that maybe there could have been a chance of premature labour and/or damage to babys weight. your apt is soon here, explain this to your doctor, am sure he/she will understand.

Thanks for the response and giving me hope! I took 2 test in August after my missed period and they both came out negative. I figured since both test came out negative & i missed my period in Aug it was due to stress. My AF didnt ever show up in sept as well. I had brown discharge for the last week in a half, I thought it was my period acting weird for some reason. I took a test last week on monday and it was negative also. I had one hpt left so on Saturday i decided to just take it, i thought it was going to show up negative and it came up positive. I don't really know if im 10 weeks.

hey. just to let you know i also smoked pot 1 time before I knew I was pregnant and I drank to the point of being stupid drunk, lol. My baby that survived looks to be healthy. also my best friend drank and smoked pot before she found out. Alot of people do, its good to stop if you  are trying but i dont think itll hurt ur lil bugger. y didnt u take a test after your 1st missed period?

No I have my Drs appt this wednesday. I'm not sure if i'm 10 weeks along. I used a pregnancy calculator but I know sometimes their wrong. My periods come monthly, but it varies. Sometimes I get them every 28 days, and sometimes I get them every 33- 37 days. Thats why i'm nervous and scared becuase I don't really know.

relax.  talk with your doctor.  I'm sure everything is fine.  Are you sure about being 10 weeks?  have you had a scan done?

I'm very irregular.  and I'm not as far along as my last peroid says I would be.

Hi! Thank you. I just found out this Saturday.  I think i'm 10 weeks becuase I counted back to the last menstrual I had. I was very stressed the last couple of weeks, so i thought that had alot to due with me missing me period. I didnt think it was possible for me to get pregnant becuase i'm been having unprotected sex with my husband for 4 years now, and i never got pregnant. I just hope everything will be fine...

Hi! Congrats! and glad you stopped! how did you find out you were expecting and how far along you were? am sure the baby is ok though and luckily u found out sooner rather than later. let us know how your check up goes. take care!

Thank you for your quick response!! No I haven't been to the dr yet for a checkup. My 1st appt will be on wednesday. I'm super nervous. This will be my 1st child. I am excited and scared at the same time. I regret what I've done, but I didn't know. I'm having some brown discharge and i'm not sure if something is wrong. I don;t know what to expect at my Drs appt. I hope everything is fine & im trying to stay positive and not stress myself out.

I congratulate you for stopping and there is no sense stressing out over what is already done. I'm sure everything will be fine with the baby. You stopped when you found out and that is good.  Have you been to the doctor for a checkup or ultrasound yet?
