Has this happened to anyone else?

So this is my second pregnancy, my first was completely healthy and there were no complications. So I just found out I was pregnant January 4th, I had my first appointment Monday February 8th because according to my period I am 9 weeks 4 days now... So my doctor checked me like any normal check but she wanted to feel my uterus and see how it felt due to the fact that I just had my son in July of 2015 so these pregnancies are close together, she checked and she said it feels like I'm only 7 maybe 8 weeks along and that since I was on the pill before I had my last period it could have caused me to ovulate later in the cycle so she is sending me for an ultrasound on Friday. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else? My son was big 9 lbs 8oz so it just worries me a little that I might have a small baby this time around or something may be wrong. My doctor didn't say there was any problems and didn't seem worried but I don't know if I should be worried.

Got my ultrasound today! Found out I'm on track and my baby is 9 weeks 6 days! And got to see a little heart beat!

I didn't exactly have this happen to me but my cycle got off somehow I'm supposed to be 23 weeks according to my last period but when I had the first ultrasound they said I was actually 4 weeks behind that so I'm 19 weeks now. I don't think it's too much of a concern tho! Good luck at the ultrasound and congrats on ur pregnancy!! :)

This just happen to me I went to the doctor Wednesday and I was 9 weeks 4 days according to my last period  and he said from looking at the ultrasound I am 7 weeks 2 days today but I got to hear a heart beat

Based on my LMP, I would've been due 12/24/15, but was measuring a little over two weeks behind that at my first ultrasound. Turns out that I ovulated two weeks late and my due date was moved to 1/9/16. This was also my second. I had her on the sixth of last month and she was 1.5lbs bigger than my first! I'm sure you ovulated late.

Same for me. I had my daughter June, found out I was prego again early January. I was on the pill as well.

I didn't need an ultrasound my last pregnancy at the beginning, my first ultrasound with my son was to tell me his gender then I had a growth chart one at 36 weeks because at 34 weeks he was 6 pounds. That's why I asked if I should be worried this time around.

I needed an ultrasound too because of being on birth control. I had my son 2/20/15 and found out we were expecting #2 in november of this year, but because of not fully knowing my ovulation date I got a dating ultrasound. Everything was fine but this pregnancy has been tons harder as far as my own symptoms

They always make you het an ultrasound just to know how far along you are. I wouldn't worry
