Have any of you had this too?

im 31 weeks and I keep getting itchy down there. I used a over the counter yeast infection medication. I try to stay try as much as possible and bought panty liners. I thought it was that but after I used it the itchiness came back in 5-6 days. Also it's starting to hurt down there but it kind of feels like I'm starting to dialate. Has anyone else had this happen to them too?

I went to labor and delivery tonight. Everything looks good so far. I've had a couple contractions but they were just Braxton hicks. They took swabs to check for BV and yeast infections. I'm waiting on results now. Thank you everyone

Sometimes doctors misdiagnose it and say u have a yeast infection because its very similiar organisms. Once u find the yeast infection meds fail, thats wen u need to go back to doctor to recheck for possible BV.

BV is Bacterial vaginosis. It doesnt necessarily mean your discharge is yelliw but can be. Main symptoms are vaginal itching and sometimes an odd smell associated with it. Can be very red and irritated too. It can cause preterm contractions so good to get checked asao if u think u have it. Just requires antibioics.
