U brought a couple outfits newborn and 0-3 some socks and white obesies and a blanket.  The hospital provides diapers and wipes so unless you have a long ride home if u have specific binkies then I would bring those my son didn't like the hospital ones.  Also if u plan to breastfeed I would suggest a boppy hope this helps

it depends on whether your hospital provides you with the stuff or not, in Scotland we only get small cartons of formula, in England some hospitals don't even do that.  in babys bag i took a pack newborn nappies, wipes, two pairs scratch mitts, two pairs socks, two vests and two sleepsuits as only planned on being in overnight. but had emergency c section so family brought back ups in as was there 3 days. oh and a blanket and a hat x

All I brought for baby were 2 pair of clothes, newborn size and 0-3 month. and a pair of socks. While at the hospital, they have clothes and supplies for baby, so you really just need the take home outfit.
