Help please.. 2 very light periods

Hi there, just wondered if anyone could help, I am on the contraceptive pill but 2 months ago I did miss a pill and was on a course of anti biotics. I had my period that month but was very strange, my periods are normally always on time and medium to heavy flow lasting 5days. This one tho was 2days late only lasted 2 days and was very light watery and pink, not like blood at all. I did take a test which showed up neg, took another one a week later again neg. Therefore thought just a weird period. Although this month again my period was very light and started off brown spotting and again only lasted a day and a half. I have again another neg test, not stressed, not over exercising, no sti/stds. So is this normal... Advise pls :-)

I had the same thing when i was on bc. there was even one time it was only 6 hrs long. The doctor told me it is normal and be happy about it. The only time to worry is if you dont have one at all.

Thanks for your reply, I forgot to mention I have been on this pill for over a year, and have always had very regular periods since being on it.

If your pregnancy tests are negative it's going to take a few months for you body to get used to the hormones in the Bcp. After I had taken them for months I no longer had a period. I do believe this first month of starting Bcp you are advised to use another form of bc as well but you said the test were negative so it's probably your body getting used to the hormones.
