Helpppp!! my baby has something on her face, its terrible!

A couple of days ago she started getting these little like pimples but not really pimples- I know its not acne since I've seen pics online and they look worse than what she has. Can it be milia? I'm going to the ped on Friday but I need to know right now, her beautiful face looks weird and its heart-breaking :-(
btw I just realized that a lot of the little things she had on her right side have disappeared and now she has most of them on her left side

omg that makes some sense...cause my husband "built up" a sling from a blanket we had and its an old blanket we always put on top of the couch...maybe that's what gave her that rash... I just hope its a rash and not acne cause Ive heard acne stays there for months ::-(

My nephew had that when he was born it was just a little skin rash It's not uncomfortable for the baby from what I hear. so I think your ok just check in with the doctor but nothing to panic over :)

my son is almost 4 month old and your pic looks like what he had he was allergic to the laundry detergent i used so i had to wash all my shirts in his detergent might be an idea

My son had the same thing. I bathed it twice a day with warm boiled water and i did go in the end.

It looks like baby acne to me, but you can bring it up with your ped and see if there is something that can be done. Sometimes a switch is soap or laundry detergent might help.

my daughter had a crater face for a while after she was born but it all did clear up and she has beautiful skin now! It will go away

i agree baby get so many bumps/pimples/rashes so if she is well in every other way try not to worry and have a word with your doc on fri

My son had a bad case of baby acne which appeared a couple of weeks after he was born.  Now he's 11 weeks and still gets the odd pimple...but it's mostly cleared up.  Let your pediatrician know and I'm sure they'll advise you on what to do to treat it - if there's anything you can do.  We just used Johnson's baby wash on DS' skin and that was good enough.

thanks. Yeah I know they get all sorts of weird things in their skin and she has gotten them before too but this time I got paranoid cause there are just TOO many (as you can see in the pic)

I wouldn't worry, some babys get all kinds of bumps/pimples/rashes and they are completely normal and will go away.  If you are concerned bring it up to your ped.
