He's here!!!

Ryder Nathaniel-James was born this morning at 4:06am (Alaska time). Weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces and 22 inches long! :)
I had been having contractions on and off for a few days, then yesterday they had started hurting a little bit and I was having bloody show, so I decided to go in and get checked. I was having contractions, but they weren't dilating me. So I was sent home. Then last night probably around midnight my contractions started hurting extremely bad almost to the point of tears. But they were 10-15 minutes apart so I just stayed home. By 2am I couldn't take it anymore so I came into the hospital. Turns out I was having contractions every 2 minutes, I just wasn't feeling all of them. The nurse checked me as soon as I got there and I was a 6 then an hour later I was already an 8 when the doctor got here. I asked for something for pain, so they gave me something in my IV for it. But, by the time it had actually kicked in he was already born, so I felt everything. He look exactly like his big sister. :)

Congrats Makayla!!!! All the mommies to be that were in here when I first came to this site are all gone! I think you were the last one I remember from the start of my pregnancy lol I will be having my little one in 9 days (will be 8 days in 30 mins) lol .

Awwwww congrats! I didn't know you could feel some contractions and not others lol. In a way you got lucky not laying in a hospital as long but ***** that your pain meds weren't of any use lol. Congrats on your little man! Hope to here from you here now and then.:)
