Hi,
I am 31 weeks pregnant with twins and last 5 days ago I was getting this cramps. Its like a contraction that last for 5 to 7 seconds but it will go on for 3 hrs. After 3 days I went to the hospital.I dont have any discharged or anything. So the docs there check my cervix Thank God it its closed. They said that it was my uterus contracting to accommodate the babies. They said its normal .If the contaction or any cramps is every 5 minitues and there is a discharged then they said to go back to the hospital. So all is fine thank God.Hang on there. We are almost at the last league. It will be all worth it.Take care.
im not sure why but i never had pain during my pregnancy even when i was in labor......but i know plenty of women who have had braxton hicks and one of them had them when she was 4 weeks and off and on through the entire pregnancy.......if they get worse to the point where they are very painful or you start to bleed call your doc or go to the E.R.
i feel them im 24 weeks..they feel like my stomach is just tightening up , i dont feel cramps or anything with them, just sort of uncomfortable for second
Oh ok. Thanks. LOL. I was pretty sure thats what it was. Its like not pain its just kinda there. I dunno... but im sure thats what it was. LOL. Thanks again.
Ohhhhh... well then you most definitely are probably feeling BH! LOL! They can vary in intensity. I never felt BH with my first daughter. Sometimes I'd feel my belly tighten up when my hand was resting there but I thought it was just the baby rolling up. It wasn't her, it was my uterus. So very possible it is BH!
Braxton hicks can be midly uncomfortble, but should not be regular eg: every 15 minutes. With one of my pregnancies my stomach would tighten and it would feel like (to the touch) there was a rock in the center of my stomach. My midwife said that was braxton hicks.
That is probably what you are feeling. I am about 33 weeks pregnant and I get pains that feel like my peroid is comming but I think they are more of Gas Pains. If it is something that is really concerning you then I would ask your doctor at your next appointment.
Are you pregnant? Braxton Hicks can be felt as early as 6 weeks pregnant. So I doubt it's BH. Probably premenstrual cramping or implantation cramping???
