You can try drinking water with fresh lemon every morning...that is a natural way to deal with high blood pressure...worked for me!!
I was diagnosed with hypertension about a year before becoming pregnant. The doctor told me that there is no reason to be nervous about it, I just need to take my medication (which they increased the dose of 2 weeks ago), and towards the end of my pregnancy they want to see me (more often than other women who aren't hypertensive) to make sure my BP is okay and that the baby is okay as well.
Then i believe it could be considered Gestational Hypertension in which it does go away after you give birth. You may or may not be put on meds. Not a big deal just watch sodium intake and keep hydrated some light walking would be good as well.
