How do you get through the 2ww?

I am only 1 DPO and I am already going crazy lol.  I know it is stupid, but I hate the 2ww.  Bd on CD 9, 10, 11, 13 and O'd on CD 14, so I am sure i hit the right days.  But I was just wondering how you all get through the 2ww each month.  I just hate getting my hopes up to only get af :(
This is my second cycle after coming off of Nuva Ring.   I got pregnant with my first on the second cycle coming off of birth control.  I know that I O'd so its not an issue of whether my cycles are back on track because I know that they are.  Well I am not a doctor so we will say I am "sure" they are back on track.

Just some advice on how to get through the 2ww without going crazy and not over reacting to every feeling in my body.

Thanks for any help!!

good ideas lol.  Well i crochet  and I made baby blankets for my neighbors who were PG. I made the fleece blankets for the football season that you tie knots around the sides. I read up on reviews to decide which test i was going to buy. but became obsessed with CLE digital b/c of new comercial,  i made a journal about crazy thoughts and feelings i had during 2ww and thought of tons of baby names.  i also tried to think of ways of how i would tell ppl however i did none of my ideas lol  2ww stinks!!!!   :)

I like Mumita's suggestion! Just keeping telling yourself "Not pregnant..." and then the day you DO get a BFP it will be even MORE thrilling!

I know we did BD the right days, we didn't BD on O day, but the 5 days before it, because DH was sick too.  I hate that!!  At least we have someone to blame if it doesn't happen LOL.
Even when you are psyching yourself out you are still thinking about it, but I am working on it.  I have tried not to google everything today, or read others sytmptoms.  Boy the internet is evil!  My son turns 7 tomorrow and back then when I was ttc I didn't have a computer or the internet around me.  So I didn't have millions of symptoms at my finger tips to read into it too much, I just remember being late and testing and being pregnant!  Ahhh the simpler times ;)

Yes, "psyching yourself out" is a good distraction too.  :)  Unfortunately I KNOW we didn't BD on the right days this month so I defintely don't have my hopes up.  :(  STILL trying not to be mad at DH for being sick and unable to "provide services".  Grrr.  It's hard not to be frustrated and disappointed!

The 2WW is not my favorite two weeks. I swear that I have lived my life in two week increments for the last 15 months. I thought about it even when I told people I wasn't thinking about it. I don't think there is anyway around it. Good luck ladies!!!!! Perhaps you'll all fair better than myself in trying to get through it!

It is nice to at least know we are not alone.  Obsessing over every twinge or feeling our body makes.  Like......was that just a pull in my ovaries?  Was that the egg on its way to down to inplant?  Its things like that.  The crappy part is for me, I get pregnancy symptoms with every AF.  Like darkening of the nipples, swollen breasts (tmi).
Sorry to hear about your BFN kramik.  But keep testing if you did get a faint positive once you may still be preggo.

I find that they evenings are the easiest.  Getting supper cooked, getting my son ready for school the next day, and ready for bed.  Falling asleep is hard though, paying attention to every little thing inside you!!

I am trying to tell myself too this month that I did it on the wrong days and there is no way I could be preggo this month, that way if it doesn't happen maybe I wont be dissapointed and if it does then I may be pleasantly surprised!  2 dpo today......oh god....

What I am doing this month is that I always think that "I'm not pregnant" and any little symptom is just a sign of AF.  The symptoms are very similar anyway so I can't tell either way, so I'll just say I'm not and that way I might get a surprise hopefully.

Well I retested this morning with a different brand (Clearblue Easy digital) and no surprise it said Not Pregnant.  I figured me and dh were just seeing things or who knows.  I am only 11 or 12 dpo so I will just keep testing until AF arrives.

I find that it's nearly impossible to turn my mind off, no matter how busy I am. I've started my own home business and I homeschool and cook and clean all day long and the entire time I've still got baby on the brain...

*SIGH* If anyone ever finds the secret to turning that switch off tell me! I'm not even in the 2WW yet... I'm still waiting to O!!!!!

thanks just keep everything crossed and hopefully in the morning I can be glowing with a BFP look not a frown from a BFN -- right now I am just a bag of nerves -- I keep going and looking at the stick to see if I still see what could be a positive -- HA I am going crazy

the 2WW is HORRIBLE!  I am 10/11 dpo and just took a test today -- I think I see a very very faint positive I showed it to DH and he pointed it out right away I didn't even have to ask him if he sees the lines -- ugh I am so nervous I don't wanna get my hopes up in case it is really not a BFP but it has been very hard.  This is all I keep thinking about.  I will take another one in the morning and see what that says hopefully it is indeed a BFP and not me and my husband thinking we see something that is not really there.

It's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to keep yourself busy during the dreaded 2WW.  LOL!  I find myself over analyzing every tiny thing going on in my body.  Last month I wasn't working but at least this month my days will be occupied with teaching and I won't have as many hours in the day to stress and obsess!  How soon will you be testing?  I'm going to try to hold out until the 12th.  TRY is the key word.  :)  LOL!

Good luck to you!  Rent lots of movies, put a puzzle together, go shopping, clean your house, do laundry...gosh none of my activities sound as enticing as obsessing about TTC!  LOL!

Its hard, especially if you dont have nothing to keep you busy, im in georgia visiting DF(vacation) so i no im going to be bored out my mind, but im going to try and do things to keep me busy at least until 9dpo. I ovulated sometime this mouring so my surge should be gone by the end of today, so 2mrw will make me 1dpo. I want to take it easy this wait, i dont have high hopes but will be estatic if i get a positive. Last cycle i was so bumbed of not getting preggo,  much baby dust to you. Just try to keep busy and find things to do. And dont analyze every little symptom you get, that makes things worse:)
