Good luck abesmommy! Hopefully you have already had him though. :)
Lilseamonkey yeah my labor was smooth for the most part. I thought I was having contractions every 10 minutes, I could walk and talk through them too, but decided to go get checked anyways. At that point everybody was still at home because I thought I would be sent home. The nurse checked me said I was a 6 and before she even hooked me up to the monitor she called my doctor because my labor with my daughter was only 3 hours. I was there about 45 minutes when the doctor got there and I was already an 8 and she broke my water and okayed the pain medication for the IV. Since my mom is in a wheelchair she had to get everybody up with my brothers help and she got there right as the doctor told me I could push. I pushed for 20 minutes and he was born. So just a few minutes shy of 2 hours. The only thing that went wrong was the pain medication didn't kick in at all until after he was already born.
Netta90 how much longer do you have? Ryder is actually really laid back. He hardly cries, and when he does it's just this little tiny cry. His sister laughs every time lol.
Hey! I'm doing fine just waiting on my mini me's arrival! I'm glad you && Ryder are doing great. Is he fussy or laid back?? Good luck on everything! Keep us updated
I'm glad you're deciding to breast feed! :) I'm 12 days pp and I've developed a horrible case of hives :/ no idea why but it got so bad my feet and hands swelled up so much I couldn't move my fingers or toes! Dr gave some steroids so I can't bf until I'm done with those pills. Hopefully they work because it's killing me having to give me lil girl formula all the time. We were doing so great with breast feeding. I'm happy to hear that you and baby are doing well :) was your labor smooth?
Love his name very cute, happy you and baby are good,im in labor waiting to see what happens.
