You shouldn't have milk 1 hr before or 2 hours after taking the iron pill.

I would wait 2 to 3 hours my doctor told me it lowers absorption and also can make you poop shortly after which is a waist cus you poop out the little bit of iron you have taken

I would wait 2 to 3 hrs after taking the pills to drink milk because it does affect iron absorption.   Google it

I've heard calcium inhibits iron absorption which may be why she's been told not to drink milk with the pills. I would say after an hour or two you would be okay. I always took my iron pills at night bc they made me a little sick so I never thought about it.

U can take them together if u want its just ice that lowers ur iron
