How long to concieve after merina iud?

just wondering how long people took to concieve after iud removal? i have herd it take some people up to a yr? i hope not!! any info would e great as would anyone who has concieved after a merina iud? thanks Emma xx

i had my merina in for 2 years  i have 2 kids and i had it put in after the last child  and i just got it remove in july 20 2011 on the next day my period flowed heavy and it lasted long so any way while my hubby left to go out of town i thought it was the perfect time to get it remove, me and my hubby is trying to have another baby i hope it happens soon i guess i will know around the end of sept if my period come on cause if it dont then i will be preggers and i did come on my period in aug i guess its just a waiting game for me i really need to relaxed cause i keep thinking the merina mite of mess up something cause with the first 2 i had gotten pregnant fast so i am hoping!!

i had my iud taken out in july and concieved in august after one period. i never had periods for 2 years! i was told to take primrose oil capsules to thicken the lineing of the womb up to the day of you positve OV and it worked first time!!! im now 7 months along!! i think everyone is different but it can happen!!! good luck!!

You have a 20-25% chance of conceiving each month. It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive, I hope you all do in less time than this. I was not using mirena I was on the pill and it took me 6 months for my period to regulate and another 6 to get pregnant. Good luck to you!!! Try keeping track of your cervical mucous, and bed every other day.

I had my Mirena IUD removed in January and we have been TTC #1 ever since. I've been wondering the same thing so let me know if you hear anything. Good luck!

  I've had my iud out for almost two yrs now and still have not concieved yet..but everyone is different..good luck.
