How much do YOU spend per kids for easter???

Just curious about how much everyone spends per kid on Easter baskets. I always make my own and usually spend around  $25 per child. This year I have 4 children plus my 16 year old step DD so I will be cutting way back.

I spent about $40 dollars for both my girls.  Anika is 3 and Iliana 8 months so Anika got a bunch more.  We are going to do an egg hunt, plus I got her the Alvin and the Chipmunks dvd.  I bought Iliana a book and stuffed animal.

I havent gotten Julians Easter Basket yet but I spent 30.00 last year only because Pinocchio (sp) came out on Dvd and I wanted to get it for him and had nothing else to give it to him for. This year I will probably spend about 25.00 but I will buy mostly everything at the dollar store!

Well. I did my shopping yesterday and spent $93. But I did get eveerything I needed for decorating eggs, plastic eggs and candy for our Easter egg hunt too. So I think I did pretty well. 5 kids times 93 dollars is about 18 dollars a piece. Not bad. Only problem is. Im still not done shopping for my son's birthday party and Easter dinner:(  I hate when we have so many things at once.  I am going to have a finanial break down, lol!

I do the dollar store for some things. I probably spend around $15-20 per child. Except the baby. I just got her a stuffed animal.

But I do spend money to make cupcakes and do the filled easter eggs for the egg hunts in two of their classes as well.

I don't usually spend much...Get a bag of candy to split between them, a book or two for each basket, maybe some cheap toy and call it good...I probably spend maybe $30 or $40 for all of them (4 at this point)

Not much.  DS no. 1 is 3.5 years old and we're just doing an egg hunt for him (putting "Easter bunny prints" down on the floor so it's easy for him to find his eggs since he's still so small).  Our youngest son is only 9 weeks old, so we just got him a stuffed lamb.

I'm one of those people who firmly believes that Easter shouldn't be a "second Christmas" in the sense that kids shouldn't be receiving huge gifts - maybe something small  (ie. bubbles, skipping rope, sidewalk chalk) in celebration of spring and a bit of candy, but that's it.
