How to estimate due date?

I went to the Dr and took a UA and it can back negative. I made them draw blood and it came back positive. I had just missed a period in march so the tracker on here is trying to say I'm 4 weeks already, but the doctor said their UA can detect pregnancy 10 days after conception, meaning I was less than 10 days pregnant. What's the best way to figure out an estimated due date?

Or, people need too learn not to be so sensitive? No need to sugar coat anything.

And I'm glad I know. Each person can feel how they want. Some people need to learn how to be more sensitive when voicing their opinion

In my opinion, not knowing is better. If you had complications this early, there's nothing they could do. I'm so glad I didn't know until 10 weeks. Best of luck to ya!

But 10days after conception would be around 3 1/2 to 4 weeks prego not 10days prego...

Sometimes when you just missed your period the ultrasound at 4 weeks can't detect nothing after you are 7 or 8 weeks, urine tests sometimes does not work on some people, on my sister didn't work on her 3 pregnancies and needed to have a blood test to confirm it.

I would just wait until first ultrasound they will date based on baby measurements  but my bet is it will match up to the idea that you are 4w right now. Mine matched up perfectly.

Well it was weird because an at home test said I was 1 to 2 weeks along, that was the whole reason I went to the Dr to be sure. Then their test said negative. Even the doctor found that weird

Urinary tests can have a false negative they are not always perfect. If blood test reads prego you would be 4weeks if that's how long it's been since lmp.

If you are right now in the week you should have started a cycle then that would put you at 4weeks. Conception is approx. 2weeks after the last period but at point of conception you are considered 2weeks pregnant cause egg has already been there two weeks so at the point of a missed period you are four weeks. For example My last period started Dec. 29th, baby measures 12weeks, and it has been 12weeks since my last period.

They drew blood and it showed I was. Today is the first day of my missed period. It's not really about impatience right now it's more about my last pregnancy had complications and I'm determined to be on the look out for them this pregnancy.

Don't be impatient,  and wait for your doctor. If you missed a period in March, you're further than 10 days. PTs aren't always correct. Manys reasons why it read a false negative.

Do you have any idea when you might have conceived?  You could go by that day as well.

The best thing you can do right now is go by your missed period. In a few weeks they'll do a dating ultrasound and you'll bet a better estimate that way.
